Hola, I am a design researcher from Ecuador based in London, with a Master’s in Global Collaborative Design Practice at Camberwell College of Arts, a dual degree with Kyoto Institute of Technology in Japan.
Throughout my work, I have worn many hats: fashion designer, researcher, community outreach coordinator and creative director. Currently, my practice focuses on using research, design tools and alternative research methodologies to build frameworks that address systemic challenges, open space for alternative solutions, investigate broken systems, and work alongside communities to open up alternative ways of thinking and doing. Storytelling is a medium that runs through everything I do, as a way to reach audiences that are not often included in these conversations.
I aim to build longstanding relationships with organisations to create impactful outcomes that benefit both people and the planet.
This is what I can offer:
Research: Alternative research methods and qualitative data analysis.
Cross-cultural collaboration: Working across different backgrounds and language barriers.
Design systems thinking: Mapping tools like MLP (multilevel perspectives), critical thinking and more.
Community outreach: Co-creation, building relationships and community ethics.
Workshop facilitation: Design and prototyping
Storytelling: Translating complex systemic ideas into accessible narratives for wider audiences
